The government has ordered a review of the GCSE qualification. The proposals and can be found here: http://comment.ofqual.gov.uk/gcse-reform/Please note that any changes made by the government would apply to those boys currently (September 2011) in Year 9. These changes will not have an effect on boys currently in Years 10 or 11. As soon as any changes are confirmed, these pages will be updated appropriately.
