KD Clubs was founded by Kes Daood 01/12/09. Since then it has expanded rapidly from two clubs, to six, the first being WASA.
WASA was founded 08/07/08 and contains many of the original members who were present for the first rocket launch, as well as a lot of new members.
WDU (Wilson's Debating Union) was founded 18/12/09, and has always enjoyed high numbers of students, due to the broad range of topics and ideas covered in the club.
The Islamic Prayer club is the oldest club under the KD Clubs name, however one of the newest to join. Made to cater to the religious needs of Muslims in the school, the club enjoys a large number of people who come to pray.
Book club is one of the newest clubs, founded for those who have a passion for reading. With changes in the school reading scheme, book club is a great place to discover good books and hear others opinions on them.
Free thinkers is KD Clubs newest club, offering a philosophical alternative to debating, which talks about topical issues, such as science and God, and tries to answer deep meaningful questions, such as why do we exist.
Medical club is also a new club, which offers students to get a head start with a career in medicine. The club offers students the chance to expand their knowledge of this topic, so it can be used to aid them in later life.
We hope to continue this expansion, through new ideas and bright individuals who wish to stand out and change their school. |
