Year 13 Assessment Schedule
- Each term your son will be formally assessed in each of his subjects. There will be six pieces of assessed work in all subjects
- These assessments are common across departments. All teachers within a department set the same formal assessments and mark to the same standards. However, subject teachers will invariably set other homework pieces and these may not be common across departments in terms of the task or the timing.
- Assessments are marked either summatively and or formatively. Formative marking is where a target for future improvement is given.
