The remit of the Management Team Secretary is to provide outstanding administrative support to the wider team responsible for leading the school and to the Director of the Sixth Form in preparing boys for their university applications. The Head is supported by his own Personal Assistant. This new and varied post would suit a candidate ready for a challenge and interested in supporting the leadership and boys at this outstanding ancient school, which was founded in 1615.

Funding for state school is under significant pressure and as such, the School needs to look at means of supplementing government income.
The School now seeks a Director of Development who will be responsible for the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy to support Wilson’s ambitions, as well as the enhancement of its relationships with its alumni base. Working collaboratively with the Head, your mission will be to maximise fundraising potential and to develop high-value relationships to deliver significant philanthropic income. You will engage powerfully with the alumni, bring innovative approaches to current activities and plan future strategic directions. As a member of the Associate Leadership Team, the Development Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Wilson’s School.

School Staff Instructor CCF and DoE ManagerRequired from September 2017
We are looking to recruit someone to take on responsibilities as the School Staff Instructor for the school’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and preferably as the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award Scheme Manager as well.
Option 1 - SSI role only: 2 days a week in term time, plus days at weekends and in the school holidays for CCF camps / activities (approximately 40 days across the year). Salary £30,000 FTE (£12,000 pro rata) plus payment from the MoD for occasional days in the working week, as well as weekends and in school holidays.
Option 2 - SSI and Duke of Edinburgh Scheme Manager: 3 days a week in term time, plus days at weekends and in the school holidays for CCF camps/activities (approximately 40 days across the year) and Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions (approx. 22 days across the year). Salary £30,000 FTE (£18,000 pro rata) plus payment from the MoD for occasional days in the working week as well as weekends and in school holidays.
Option 3: A post for up to 5 days a week in term time may be considered if the applicant has other skills to offer which would be of service to the School in addition to the SSI and Duke of Edinburgh role.
